The Healing Space

About Felicia Williams

Dr. Felicia WilliamsFor over 20 years, Felicia Williams has inspired business organizations, leaders, individuals, and couples to go beyond the ordinary to achieve awesome relationships and business success.

A Michigan native and graduate of Michigan State University, Felicia developed her organizational change management expertise while building a career as a university professor. She taught and consulted at the Simon Bolivar University in Caracas, Venezuela, the School of Business at Boston College, and the Psychology Department and School of Engineering at Wayne State University. Focusing on organizational effectiveness, team-building, and organizational restructuring following radical organizational change, she developed an acute skill for balancing the needs of the organizational system with the "people" needs of her clients.

This exciting career was greatly rewarding, yet something inside her kept asking for even greater self expression. In the ensuing process of self-exploration, The Healing Space was born in 1988. "Where the Heart Comes Home to Heal" captured the call for the integration of the "being" aspect of heart/passion/love with the "doing" and competency-based aspect of her life. As she continued to work in teaching and OD consulting, she began to assist others on the same path to fuller self-expression. In 1993, Felicia found an additional way to spread her "Heart-Work" by becoming a facilitator for the Human Awareness Institute.

Felicia brings her heart and a wide range of skills to help individuals and couples find their path out of those critical "stuck" places: job dissatisfaction, finding the "right" career, the challenges of beginning, enriching or ending a relationship, midlife changes in goals and direction, overcoming fear that blocks personal fulfillment. She brings the same listening ear, intuition, and consulting experience to her organizational clients to move them to greater levels of vitality and work flow effectiveness.
